He successfully executed a conventional deadlift of 505 kg (1,113 lbs), setting a new official world record. This monumental lift broke his own previous mark of 501 kg, originally set in 2020, and erased any lingering doubts surrounding that home-gym performance.
According to Men’s Health, the lift was conducted on a carpeted Eleiko platform, forcing Thor to make last-minute adjustments to his approach. Despite these challenges, the lift was successful and, notably, performed in full competition conditions.
